In February, Michelle Sims led Yupro Placement’s rebrand and recharter in conjunction with launching a nationwide campaign entitled #SkillsFirstJobsNow to drive socioeconomic change where skills-based hiring creates access to equitable job opportunities for those lacking a four-year degree. Under her leadership, Yupro Placement became the largest nationwide upskilling partner in 2023 with IBM SkillsBuild, serving 5,000 job seekers and empowering their skills-first movement. Sims was named to SIA’s 2022 DE&I Influencers list and seeks to affect talent inequitable job placement that impacts generational change.
