In the first 90 days of joining AMN Healthcare in 2008, Julie Fletcher created a strategic plan and approach to evolve the largest US healthcare staffing firm’s human resources department. Her key infrastructure changes include new technology platforms Workday and Jobvite; an HR service center; a business partner model; and centers of excellence in support of optimizing the function. She also championed a volunteer time-off benefit through which employees have dedicated more than 3,000 hours to their local communities in 2018. Over the last three years, AMN has seen a 57% increase in corporate team members as well as the acquisition of 14 companies.
