A 41-year staffing veteran, Carmen Watson is chair of Pertemps Network Group, a £1 billion UK recruitment business. Watson helped the company successfully navigate through two economic downturns; in April, she assumed the role of deputy lieutenant for the West Midlands region, enhancing the organization’s ability to support communities. She also formed a Future of the Workforce Roundtable initiative, which garnered participation from small and midsize enterprises, blue chips, private and public sectors, educational institutions and training providers. Watson heads Pertemps’ DE&I committee and chairs the Women in Business Patrons’ group for the Lord Mayor of Birmingham’s Charity.
