Linda Perneau joined Volt Information Sciences Inc., the 22nd-largest US staffing firm, in 2018 and was named president of Volt Workforce Solutions that May. The next month, she became interim president and CEO of the entire company, and dropped the “interim” part in November 2018. Perneau is Volt’s first female CEO. Accomplishments in the past year include bringing in five industry veterans to the leadership team, building robust sales and delivery channels and shifting the culture at Volt. The shift changed the company from a service organization only to a sales and service organization. Changes at the company have left no stone unturned, Perneau says, but Volt retained its people-centric focus.
