Carmen Watson is chair of Pertemps Network Group, a £1 billion UK recruitment business. Pertemps has earned the Large Best Companies three-star world-class award for employee engagement for 16 consecutive years. Watson this year was presented with an honorary doctorate from Aston University for her contribution to the development of employment opportunities for people from all sectors of the community. She is active within several charitable and business organizations, such as Aston University’s advancement board, the Women in Business Patrons’ group for the Lord Mayor of Birmingham’s Charity, the West Midlands Regional Council and CBI’s Changing Workforce and Skills committees.
