Ericka Hyson joined TextUS, a provider of business texting software, as COO in September, but it was her work as COO of ettain group, the 34th-largest IT staffing firm in the US, that earned her a spot on this list. This year was all about seeing results from several years-long initiatives Hyson and her team at ettain had been executing in order to improve customer service and position the company for growth. Hyson credits her professional successes to her natural curiosity and commitment to approaching all relationships with a “How can I help you?” mentality. She serves as a board member of All-In to Fight Cancer.
