Tracy Thomson founded Finite Recruitment in Australia in 1998, having relocated from the UK in 1997. Through a mixture of organic growth and acquisition, Finite grew into a network of seven offices across Australia and New Zealand. In 2003, Thomson founded FinXL IT Professional Services on the back of growing customer demand to offer a broader suite of services. Thomson maintains a very hands-on role in the day-to-day running of the business. She has garnered a number of high-profile accolades, including regional and national winner in the 2007 Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” awards in the business services category. Thomson also was the Deloitte Best Business Management Award winner 2010 and 2011, and a finalist in 2012.
