Sue Burnett is president and founder of Burnett Specialists, which is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its employee stock ownership plan this year. Also this year, the firm was named the largest Houston-area direct hire firm for the 13th year in a row and the second-largest Houston-area temporary staffing firm by the Houston Business Journal. Burnett founded HBJ’s Best Places to Work event in Houston 20 years ago and is still the sponsor.
