President and founder of Burnett Specialists, Sue Burnett recently received the Houston Business Journal’s Most Admired CEO Lifetime Achievement Award in honor of her 52 years in the personnel industry. In 2022, Burnett Specialists celebrated its 48th anniversary. Employee-owned, the company’s stock increased 60% year over year in 2021, with a total rise of 330% since 2010 and a total of 550 vested owners. Burnett is also a co-author of Together We Rise, the proceeds from which have supplied scholarships for women to attend the conferences held by the American Staffing Association and Staffing Industry Analysts.
