As president of Penmac, the largest employee-owned staffing firm in the US, Paula Adams strives to give back. In the past year, Penmac has raised money for Great Circle by sponsoring “Handbags for Hope,” held a campaign for the United Way, and packaged food at Ozarks Food Harvest. Adams recently joined the board of the Child Advocacy Center. Penmac serves employees by providing job transportation, GED classes and professional clothing to those in need. Penmac continues to expand, most recently in Olive Branch, Miss. Penmac’s education staffing division continues to grow, most recently securing a contract with Springfield Public Schools, the second-largest district in Missouri.
