As managing regional director, Latin America, for ManpowerGroup Inc., Mónica Flores Barragán leads more than 3,700 employees and 100,000 temporary workers across 18 countries. She is also a member of the steering committee and board of the Mexican Employers’ Confederation (COPARMEX), a member of the first Job Training Institute of Mexico City, and presides over the ManpowerGroup Foundation. In 2011, Flores Barragán was named “Distinguished Woman of the Year” by Mexico’s National Senate. She has been recognized as one of the most powerful businesswomen in Mexico (for eight consecutive years by Expansión and for second year by Forbes) and Central America (for second year by Forbes), as well as one of the 10 principal global promoters of diversity by Global Diversity.
