Melanie Forbes was appointed CEO of Guidant Group in 2014 having worked for over 20 years within RPO, managed service, and recruitment environments. She started her career as a regional manager for ManpowerGroup in 1992 before joining Advantage Resourcing as commercial director of TAC Europe in 2003, later becoming managing director at Advantage xPO in 2008. In 2011 Forbes was appointed managing director of Carlisle Managed Solutions, which rebranded as Guidant Group in 2014. Earlier this year Forbes took part in the CEO Sleepout, which saw business leaders sleeping rough on the streets of central London for a night to raise money for the charity Action for Children.
