Maria Raffaella Caprioglio is president of Umana Spa, which ranked No. 5 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2017 list of largest staffing firms in Italy. At the age of 23, she joined what was then known as the Industrial Association for the province of Venice, becoming the first woman to hold office within that organization. In 1998, Caprioglio left Confindustria to join Umana, and in 2001 she joined Umana’s board of directors. She became VP in 2007 and president in 2012. Caprioglio is a member of the general council of Assolombarda Confindustria Milano, Monza and Brianza; vice chairman of the ICT Group; and president of the Professional Services Section.
