Maria Raffaella Caprioglio joined Umana SpA in 1998 and has been its president since 2012. Serving industries ranging from agriculture to health to luxury and fashion, Umana is Italy’s fifth-largest staffing firm with more than 143 branches. Caprioglio’s career took off when, at the age of 23, she joined what was then known as the Industrial Association for the province of Venice, becoming the first woman to hold office within that organization. Caprioglio is a member of the Italian Industry Association’s general council and education and industrial relations committees.
