Lisa Ann Cooney is senior vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary at Day & Zimmermann, which includes Yoh Staffing Services and DZConneX. Cooney is the first female general counsel in the company’s 120-year history. This year, Cooney is investigating how pay transparency laws and the use of artificial intelligence in employment decisions will affect the staffing industry. Cooney also is a member of the American Staffing Association’s Legislative Committee and a member of the Women in Leadership Committee of The Forum of Executive Women. She sponsors Yoh’s True Colors employee resource group.
