As the Covid-19 pandemic dramatically increased the need for healthcare providers, Laurie Reichert, COO of Fastaff Travel Nursing, helped her company rise to the occasion. Reichert joined Fastaff in 2019 and went to work streamlining the key production functions, including recruiting, credentialing, and travel and housing. This increase in efficiency enabled Fastaff to accommodate increased demands and deploy three times as many providers than in previous years. Despite this surge of orders, Reichert maintained Fastaff’s promise of delivering nurses within 24 to 48 hours, while prioritizing their safety as a member of the internal Coronavirus Task Force.
