Since its founding by CEO Kim Smitz in 2017, KNA Solutions has grown from a company with a single client to a staffing agency employing more than 2,000 temporary workers, specializing in high-volume, light industrial production and service jobs. Under Smitz’s leadership, women occupy many senior roles in the company including COO, the heads of US field operations and sourcing, and the senior director of HR. Smitz built a staffing agency that provides a fast, candidate-friendly, remote and streamlined hiring process, which enabled the company to emerge through Covid as a multimillion-dollar operation in the staffing world without spending on advertising.
