As global chief marketing officer, Joanna Irwin serves as the worldwide functional leader for marketing and communications at Randstad, the $27.2 billion global staffing giant. She is responsible for developing and spearheading global marketing and corporate communications strategy, leading a community of several hundred marketing and communications professionals in 38 countries. Irwin oversees efforts to build Randstad’s brand and reputation, increase client and candidate engagement, and drive marketing performance. Irwin also led the adoption of Randstad’s Human Forward brand, including the creation of global experience principles to ensure on-brand, customer-oriented experiences delivered through Randstad’s “tech & touch” strategy.
