Under CEO Janette Marx’s leadership this past year, Airswift completed a merge with Competentia (announced in June 2021), raising capital of $165 million on the Norwegian bond market as part of a business refinance with the merger. Her team also led a consolidation of decentralized functions into a centralized hub in Asia. In response to Covid-19, Airswift certified mental health first responders all around the world to help the firm’s employees cope with the pandemic. Marx chairs the board for the American Cancer Society’s CEOs Against Cancer Greater Houston Chapter and was appointed ambassador for equity in energy for the US Department of Energy.
