Esther O’Callaghan is founder and CEO of the Thrive Youth Trust, formerly known as the OPERA Global Youth Foundation, a global recruitment charity that aims to help disadvantaged youth find employment. She founded the charity in 2016 and to date, it has raised more than £100,000 to support hundreds of disadvantaged young people into work. She is also the co-founder of Thrive in Work, which connects youth with employers and career opportunities. An entrepreneur, O’Callaghan also co-founded Isle of Tri, which empowers women through triathlon and multi-sport. She has previously served as the corporate social responsibility advisor for Opus Recruitment and has volunteered with a number of charities, campaigns and programs across the UK. O’Callaghan was awarded with an Order of the British Empire.
