Carmen Watson is managing director and chair of Pertemps Ltd., an £800 million recruitment firm based in the UK. In 2018, she won a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Recruitment & Employment Confederation’s Institute of Recruitment Professionals and was named Director of the Year in the West Midlands in 2018 by the Institute of Directors. Her journey at Pertemps began in 1976 when she joined as a secretary. She became chair in 2012. Watson is also a board member of the Race for Opportunity campaign; Trustee & Chair of the Women In Business Patrons group of the Lord Mayor of Birmingham’s charity and a commissioner of HRH Princess Royals Training Awards.
