Zoë Harte is senior VP of HR and talent innovation at Upwork; the Santa Clara, California based company ranks as the largest B2B human cloud platform. Harte oversees a workforce of some 500 full-time employees and approximately 1,500 freelancers. Upwork went public in 2018, but Harte says another accomplishment was continuing to grow the company while also staying aligned to its mission to democratize the way people work. “Teams of the future will look like film crews with specialists from all over the world coming together to work on projects where each person can shine and make strong impacts doing what they do best,” Harte says.
