Susan Salka is president and CEO of AMN Healthcare Services Inc., the largest US healthcare staffing firm. Salka joined the company in 1990 and has served as CFO, COO and senior VP of business development. Salka was named 2012 Woman of the Year by San Diego Magazine; one of San Diego’s Top Influentials in 2011 and 2014 by the San Diego Daily Transcript; and 2014 Director of the Year by the Corporate Directors Forum for her leadership in the category of corporate citizenship. Most recently, Salka was recognized as San Diego Business Journal’s 2016 Most Admired Public Company CEO, and was bestowed the honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters from San Diego University’s college of business administration. She has made an appearance on the Staffing 100 five times.
