As VP and general manager for the west division of Manpower North America, Sunny Ackerman leads all aspects of the company’s staffing operations in this geography. She oversees $700 million in service revenues through 21 states with nearly 120 branches employing approximately 20,000 associates on a weekly basis. Ackerman is responsible for business strategies, sales growth and customer service. She is the executive sponsor of the client-focused aspect of Manpower’s Affordable Care Act implementation, where she successfully achieved cost recovery while maintaining client satisfaction. She also serves as ManpowerGroup’s North America executive sponsor for ACE, a business resource group created to “Advocate, Connect and Elevate” women at ManpowerGroup.
