Sue Burnett founded Houston-based Burnett Specialists in 1974. In line with her guiding philosophies — such as treating others the way they want to be treated — the company implemented an employee stock ownership plan in 2010 and is now the largest employee-owned staffing firm in Texas. The National Diversity Council named Burnett one of the 2015 Most Powerful & Influential Women of Texas, and the Texas Women’s Chamber of Commerce named her Texas Business Woman of the Year in 2012. Burnett Specialists operates nine Texas locations, including a Choice Specialists office in Dallas.
