Rita Steel oversees Robert Half Finance & Accounting, Accountemps, Robert Half Management Resources and OfficeTeam as president of Professional Staffing Services for the West and Southwestern US. Since joining the professional staffing firm in 1987, Steel has assumed positions of increasing responsibility and played an integral part in driving the company’s growth. Her accomplishments over the past year include being honored by San Diego Magazine as a “Woman of the Year” finalist and “Industry Leader” winner. Steel was also honored by Dress for Success in New York City and San Francisco for her contributions via Robert Half’s annual Suit Drive, an initiative she pioneered in 2002.
