This year started out with a bang for Paula Adams, president of Penmac Staffing. In January, she helped lead the company through its first acquisition — that of Minnesota based Employment Resource Center Inc. — putting Penmac in nine states with 34 total branches. Penmac is 100% employee-owned, and, with 2017 revenue of $114 million, is ranked 138th on SIA’s list of the largest staffing firms in the US. Adams hopes to continue expanding Penmac’s Education Staffing division. Outside of Penmac, Adams serves on the boards of nine different organizations.
