As president of Penmac, the largest employee owned staffing firm in the country, Paula Adams strives to give back. In 2016, Penmac raised money for Great Circle by sponsoring “Handbags for Hope,” made substantial donations to Children’s Miracle Network and United Way, and even packaged food at Ozarks Food Harvest. Penmac serves employees by providing job transportation, GED classes and professional clothing to those in need. Under Adams’ leadership, Penmac continues to expand, most recently in Memphis, Tenn.; Gardner, Kan.; and St. Peters, Mo. Adams also appeared on the 2016 Staffing 100 list.
