Nicola “Nikki” Soares, VP and managing director of the education practice for Kelly Services, is an “educator at heart.” A former public-school teacher and 20-year veteran of the education industry, she is on a mission to elevate student achievement and teacher success nationwide. Under her leadership, the education practice at Kelly Services continues to expand. Soares last year managed the acquisition of Teachers On Call — the sixth-largest education staffing firm in the US — expanding Kelly’s educational geographic footprint and strengthening its position as the largest education staffing firm in the US, with 32% market share. The deal also opened doors for new services and revenue, including early childhood care education.
