Minna Vanhala-Harmanen is CEO of Barona, the largest private HR agency in Finland. After the 2017 acquisition of Opteam, she integrated and transitioned the two firms and developed Barona into a stronger and more agile company with a broader service portfolio. For the past 12 years she has served in the board of the Private Employment Agencies Association in Finland, including five years as chair. She is a popular speaker who talks about themes like changing work life, digitalization, labor migration and lifelong learning. She is also one of the writers of the book, Esimiehen työsuhdeopas (Manager’s Employment Guide), which gives practical employment guidance for supervisors.
