As CFO of Apex Systems, L. Paige Turnes has been instrumental in creating financial systems and infrastructure to support the company’s growth from $38 million to more than $1.8 billion in revenue. Numbers aside, she is known for being a relatable and approachable leader who cares about people. In 2016, Turnes oversaw her team’s efforts to rebrand the Lab Support division as Apex Life Sciences, fully integrating financial operations and processes for the US and Canadian divisions. During her 15-year tenure, Apex’s accounting team has grown from seven to 150 employees, while achieving outstanding collections results and the highest levels of customer service.
