In 2019, Karen Fichuk became CEO of Randstad North America and one of the few women to join Randstad NV’s executive board. She leads Randstad’s core business brands in the US and Canada, overseeing the largest operating company in Randstad’s global portfolio which represents 18% of the company’s total revenue. Amid the pandemic, Fichuk helped lead the Safely Back to Work initiative in the US. She also supported a joint strategic partnership with AMN Healthcare to address the ongoing talent shortage in the healthcare market. Under Fichuk’s leadership, Randstad US has made the DiversityInc Top 50 Companies List two years in a row for its diverse and inclusive practices.
