Jo Burston is managing director of Australia-based Job Capital, which she founded after spending more than 10 years in the outsourced payroll, migration and contractor management space. Burston sits on the board of the global Entrepreneurs Organization, and has been recognized as one of the top 50 female entrepreneurs in Australia for the last six years. She was a 2012 Ernest and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award finalist. Burston mentors other women in business through her Rare Birds initiative and has written a book by the same name celebrating women entrepreneurs across Australia and New Zealand. She is also co-founder of Phronesis Academy, which helps school children learn about entrepreneurship.
