Upwork CEO and President Hayden Brown aims to help clients access the best talent and to provide independent professionals a platform to compete on a level playing field. She is proud of how her team has pulled together around Upwork’s mission to provide economic opportunities at a time when this is more important than ever. She joined Upwork in 2015, became chief marketing and product officer in March 2019 and assumed her current role in January 2020. Brown is the co-founder of the Upwork Women’s Group and the annual Upwork Women’s Summit.
