A 35-year industry veteran, Catherine Candland joined nextSource Inc. as CEO in 2014 and became its sole WBE owner in 2018. During her tenure, she has enhanced the client/worker experience, developed workforce agility assessment tools, pioneered a progressive program approach to service management and introduced a DE&I program that sources workers from economically disadvantaged neighborhoods. An active board member for nonprofits, including community colleges, and a member of congressional steering committees on workforce issues, Candland heads leadership management and negotiation programs at MIT, Columbia, Brown and other elite universities. Candland has been awarded the Walter Wheeler Leadership and Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards.
