A registered nurse with a Master of Science in nursing, April Hansen is group president of workforce solutions for Aya Healthcare. Her team has experienced a 600% growth rate in client acquisition since 2019, expanding the distribution channels for Aya’s more than 22,000 clinicians. In 2021, Hansen helped close four acquisitions and launch two new workforce brands. She has spearheaded a qualitative research project examining the experience of nurses during the pandemic and the influences on their career choices.
